Snow Shoeing
Our Snowshoeing After School Club aims to give students in grades 3, 4, & 5 a chance to access all the beautiful trails in and around town in the winter months. Participants will learn how you use there snowshoes, read maps, use a compass, and most importantly have fun outside in the winter time. This is a great opportunity for children to enjoy being active in a non-competitive and exciting outdoor environment.

Participants must have their own snowshoes and bring warm clothes each week. If there is no snow or if the temperature is lower than 15 degrees at noon on the day of the program, a make up session will be scheduled. Cost includes transportation from SRS to local trails in town. Participants should be picked up at the Youth Community Center, 19 Park Street.

Participants must bring warm clothes, snowshoes, snacks & drinks.

More sessions will be added if the weather cooperates and there is interest.
